We had our annual Santa Shoebox Celebration day at Madzibandlela Orphanage Home in Soshanguve, North of Pretoria, a couple of weeks ago and I thought I’d use the opportunity to drop off some items I’ve received from generous donors.

Elisca Coetsee donated a few bags of clothing, household linen and a laptop bag, while Renate Benninghoff donated an electronic keyboard. All of these were items the children at Madzibandlela need urgently and the keyboard, well, that is a lovely surprise and I’m sure they will enjoy using it as much as Renate enjoys watching these little ones smile in astonishment at the kindness of others.

Thank you to both lovely ladies (one of which will, by this time next week, by my new daughter), your generosity is appreciated.

Well, Annah and the kids were NOT the only ones surprised on that special day! A sponsor decided to help Annah get some new signage for her orphanage (see photograph below)….something she needed very much, but never had the funds to put up. Annah proudly showed me around her freshly painted house and also gave me a peek into the kids’ bedrooms with their new, fresh bedspreads.

??????????????????????????????? ???????????????????????????????

If you also feel you can contribute to this orphanage, please click here to send an email with the name ”Madzibandlela” in the subject line and your contact details in the message area, and I’ll be in touch ASAP.
