17 ways we’re going to Change The World

I just LOVE this article! It is time that we, the ordinary people, get involved in changing our world for the better and NOW with Global Goals and the world leaders planning to actually commit to these goals, we can actually keep them accountable for their promise.

This, of course, does not mean that we have no responsibility. Every one of us can make a difference; use your skills, your initiative, reach out to one another and make the world a happier place for everyone.

With the goals written down, we can now make more sense of the true nature of the problems around the globe. We can also see how we can go about changing these negatives into as many positives.

Don’t say you CAN’T….SAY ”YES I CAN”!

If the world’s leaders can commit to these, surely we, those actually effected by the problems, can commit to it as well.

The time for action is NOW. We should stop waiting for others to bring along much needed help while we wallow in our desperation; stop being the victim, take charge of the situation and choose YES for change. And those who worry that their contribution may not even be noticed….believe me, friends, every little contribution helps. Success is more often the result of small, careful steps, than large, leaping (and often falling down) bounds.

Will YOU commit to this change now?

Read the list of goals below….perhaps there is one that particularly touches your heart or one where you know you can definitely make a difference…get involved now.

So, you still think you’re involvement is not necessary? You still think you’re input will not make a difference?

Why not look around you? At your community, the rural areas around your town or city….are their places out there that need a helping hand? It need not be something huge….donate books to a school, take meals to an old-age home in need, pay a visit to a creche or pre-school and read to the kids….all these little things will add up.
